We are often told that we should eat a lot of fruits and vegetables as they are the main source of anti-oxidants. Anti-oxidants protect our body from heart disease, cancer, and eye diseases and due to this the body's old age also does not come early.
Chocolate contains many times more antioxidants than red
wine and green tea and 20 times more antioxidants than tomatoes. Another
great benefit of eating chocolate is stearic acid, which does not allow
cholesterol to increase in the blood. All other acids work in reverse and
they increase the level of cholesterol in the blood. Increasing
cholesterol in the body increases the risk of obesity and increases the chances
of getting many diseases related to heart disease. Dark chocolate has
twice the amount of antioxidants than found in milk chocolate. But no
anti-oxidants are found in white chocolate.
